The committee provides a wide selection of games for all age groups (board, card, and patience games, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>The main objectives of this chapter for different age groups are to:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<ul>\n<li>Teach the blind or partially sighted child to socialize with his sighted or visually impaired peers through board games.<\/li>\n<li>Stimulate the child to develop game strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Teach the child to lose or win.<\/li>\n<li>Foster teamwork.<\/li>\n<li>Enable visually impaired teens and adults to share certain social activities with their sighted or visually impaired peers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies and increase their cultural knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Develop their manual skills.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a healthy sense of competition.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage youths to read and understand the rules of games, whether simple or complex.<\/li>\n<li>Allow youths to develop and improve their mental representation of travelling along a game board.<\/li>\n<li>Empower players with regards to board games: storage, verification of game pieces, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>Download the list of available games by clicking on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fondationdesaveugles.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liste_jeux_adaptes_FAQ_2022.docx\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this link<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Contact information for various organizations in the community of visual impairment is also included.<\/p>\n<p>Our large-numbers calendar is only offered electronically and provides many advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our calendar is <strong>available<\/strong> everywhere and for free.<\/li>\n<li>It is possible to <strong>download and print it in the desired size<\/strong> from home or at a print shop or library. <strong>It is also possible to only print a single month.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You can <strong>print it as many times as desired<\/strong>.
