ORGANIZE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING EVENT
Thank you for wanting to organize a fundraiser for the Quebec Foundation for the Blind. We are here to help you achieve this goal!
You can organize a fundraiser at your school, at work, within your social circle, in your family, in your neighborhood, with businesses in your neighbourhood – everything is possible. All ideas are welcome! Use your imagination and we will give you the tools to make it happen.
Here are five steps
to making your fundraiser a success:
1. Define your event:
Choose the place, date, target, method of operation, and purpose of your fundraiser. For example, a one-day garage sale in your neighbourhood for which the profits would be given back to the Foundation.
2. Get your event endorsed by the Foundation.

3. Promote your event
To help you promote your event through your network, we can provide tools and advice tailored to your needs. You’ll be set to collect as many donations as possible!
4. Congratulations on your event!
You can now send us your collected donations by cheque, payable to the Quebec Foundation for the Blind, at 5112 rue Bellechasse, Montreal, Quebec, H1T 2A4. We would love to have a photo of the event to share on our website.
