Guide-Facilitator
Would you like to participate in recreational activities and sports? Love challenges and children? Perhaps you would be interested in becoming a Guide-Facilitator for visually impaired youths!
The Activities Department of the Quebec Foundation for the Blind offers various activities throughout the year to help break the isolation experienced by young people who have visual impairment: day camps, summer camps, La Ronde, water slides, horseback riding, canoe-camping, tourist outings, skiing, dog sledding, cooking classes, and more! We are presently seeking Guides-Facilitators to accompany youths during these activities and enable them to excel in a safe setting. To do this, we provide training for our guides. This is a unique experience that promises memorable moments and allows our youths to live like their peers.
Volunteers making calls
We are looking for volunteers on a regular basis to make calls to donors. You’ll be asked to thank them, reach out, or provide them with information. Your help will be invaluable. You will contribute to improving the quality of life of blind people, enabling them to have low-cost housing, and to take part in sports and recreational activities despite their disability. See offer details (in French).
